Daytime Newborn Care
Our registered baby nurses and newborn care specialists provide daytime newborn care services that allow you to have an extra set of skilled-hands to care for your child while you carve out a little time to focus on something other than baby.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about infant care through a skilled baby nurse. Your baby nurse is responsible for feeding, burping, changing diapers, and getting your baby down for naps. In addition, your provider will help with baby’s laundry and wash bottles.

YBC recommends starting daytime newborn care when you arrive home from the hospital to allow your body to recover from delivery.

Hours typically scheduled for daytime newborn care are 4-8 hour shifts between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm.

There is a (4) four-hour minimum to schedule these services. However, there is no minimum number of days required. 24-hour care is also available.

FEE:
- Daytime newborn care fee is $37-55/hour (depending upon the type of provider and number of babies).
